Teaching
Our pastor, David Cole, teaches from God's Word on themes that are equally practical and empowering for our daily lives. Here's a peek at some of our teaching on Sunday mornings. Recurring encouragement in all teaching is to read our Bibles every day, understand that God always gives us another chance and expect amazing things from knowing Him. |
Life Groups Forming now, various times and locations Get better connected and make new friends by joining a Life Group. Each group chooses how often and where to meet. Some have a meal each time; others enjoy simple snacks. Some study the Bible; others read Christian books. But all of them benefit from personal interaction with others who are seeking to be more like Jesus, too. Interested? Learn more. | Ask us about it. |

Children
We love kids! We do our best to help children learn about Jesus while having a blast. We’ve created a fun & safe environment for them by implementing our kids’ check-in and check-out system. Your Children will experience an age appropriate lesson from the Bible that will teach them about God and His love for them. The lesson will be interactive and utilize multiple approaches for different learning styles. Our goal is for kids to know Jesus and understand who He is and how He can make a difference in their lives. And they will also have a lot of fun! Local and Global Missions
Taking It to the Streets This local ministry gets support from people like you at Oak Tree Church who care about year-round needs in their own community. Support might be financial or material, such as collecting groceries or other goods for our neighbors who are struggling with basic necessities. Facebook | Website | Ask us about it Coldwater Who can turn away from a hungry child? Not us. That's why, in cooperation with Coldwater, we regularly refill backpacks for Lee's Summit school children to take home on Fridays so they won't have another hungry weekend. You can help, too. Facebook | Website | Ask us about it Rocsana's Hope Rocsana's Hope is an innovative ministry that gives young girls who grew up as orphans, are 18 years or older and have been “aged out” of the Orphanage system, a place of love and care where they can continue to grow and develop into independent adults able to take care of themselves. Many of these vulnerable young ladies become targets for numerous types of exploitation. Human trafficking is a huge problem that is totally out of control in Guatemala. For a young lady, who has been an orphan and then suddenly being turned out into Guatemalan society, she faces a very dangerous and unforgiving culture where people looking to exploit her are everywhere. Their Mission is to give Guatemalan orphan girls a hope and chance for the future by giving the girls a loving and secure home and a chance to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation. Also, to give them empowering skills. Each girl is given the chance for higher education, learning life skills, and learning English to become more valuable in a competitive job market. Stan and Denise began this ministry out of Oak Tree Church and consider it a Ministry of us. We are honored to be involved with them! Facebook | Website | Ask us about it |
